Everything you need to get the best results from DermaRash.

⚕️

App Notice: DermaRash is an informational tool powered by AI. It is NOT a medical diagnostic device and provides visual reference notes and public reading links only.

📸 Taking the Perfect Photo

  • Good lighting: Use natural daylight or a bright indoor light. Avoid harsh shadows or flash glare.
  • Close-up focus: Hold your phone 15–25 cm from the skin. The rash should fill most of the frame.
  • Sharp image: Tap your screen to focus before shooting. Avoid blurry or motion-blurred shots.
  • Clean skin: Remove any makeup, creams, or bandages from the area before scanning.
  • Multiple angles: If the rash is large or has distinct features, consider scanning different areas.
💡 Tip: The app automatically checks image quality and will alert you if the photo is too blurry, too dark, or too small for the AI to provide useful educational information.

📝 Filling in the Details Form

Accurate information helps the AI produce more relevant educational content for you. Required fields are marked with *.

  • Body Location* — Select the area of the body where the rash appears.
  • Duration* — How long has this been visible on your skin? (Under 24 hours / 1–3 days / 1–2 weeks / Over 2 weeks)
  • Current Symptoms* — Check all that apply: redness, itching, swelling, warmth, pain, blistering, scaling, oozing.
  • First Appearance — Describe how the rash initially looked when it first appeared.
  • Possible Triggers — Note any potential triggers: new products, foods, stress, outdoor exposure, etc.
  • Recent Changes — Has the rash spread, changed color, or developed new features?
  • Current Medications — List any creams or treatments already applied.
⚠️ Important: Use clear photos, concise descriptions, and the cited public sources for educational review only. Do not use this app as an emergency or treatment tool.

📄 Understanding Your Report
