FaceMetric AI ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and handle your data โ€” specifically face data โ€” when you use the FaceMetric AI mobile application (the "App").

When you use FaceMetric AI, you voluntarily provide a single facial photograph via your device's photo library or camera. This photograph constitutes the only "face data" we collect.

We do NOT collect, use, or access:
  • TrueDepth camera data or depth maps
  • ARKit face tracking data
  • Face ID or any biometric identifier data
  • Any facial recognition or identification data

The face data we receive is limited exclusively to the standard 2D photograph you provide.

Face data is NOT retained. We explicitly confirm that FaceMetric AI does not retain, store, or archive any face data after the analysis is complete.

Complete lifecycle of your face data:

Upload: Your photograph is transmitted securely via HTTPS (TLS 1.2+) to our dedicated analysis server.

Processing: The photograph is held in volatile (temporary) server memory only for the duration required to complete the AI-powered aesthetic analysis. This processing time is typically less than 60 seconds.

Immediate Deletion: Upon completion of the analysis and delivery of the report to your device, all face data โ€” including the original photograph and any processed derivatives โ€” is immediately and permanently deleted from our server's memory. No copies are saved to disk, database, or any persistent storage medium.

Reason We Do NOT Store Face Data

Face data is not required beyond the real-time analysis session. Since the sole purpose of collecting your photograph is to generate an immediate analysis report, there is no technical or business need to retain the data after the report is delivered. We have designed our system architecture to ensure face data exists only in temporary memory during active processing.

Duration of Storage

Your face data exists on our server for a maximum of 60 seconds (the typical processing window). This brief duration is necessary because the AI model requires the photograph in memory to perform the geometric and symmetry calculations. Once the calculations are complete and the report is transmitted back to your device, the data is purged from memory immediately.

Why This Specific Duration

The 60-second window represents the maximum time needed for our AI model to analyze facial landmarks, calculate proportions, and generate the comprehensive report. This duration reflects the computational requirements of the analysis and nothing more. We do not extend this window for any other purpose.

FaceMetric AI does NOT share your face data with any third parties.

Data Retention Policy

No face data is retained after the analysis is complete. All face data โ€” including the original photograph and any processed derivatives โ€” is immediately and permanently deleted from server memory upon completion of the analysis. Face data is never written to persistent storage (disk, database, or other storage medium) at any point during the process.

Data Deletion

Since face data is automatically and immediately deleted after each analysis session, there is no stored face data for us to provide, modify, or delete upon request once your analysis session ends. The analysis report generated from your photograph is stored only on your local device and can be deleted at any time by you.

How to delete your data:
  • Delete the analysis report from within the app
  • Delete the app from your device (which removes all locally stored data)

Consent Revocation

You may revoke your consent for face data collection at any time by simply choosing not to submit a photograph. The app presents a clear data usage consent prompt before your first analysis, explaining exactly how your data will be used. You may:
