1 Acceptance & Applicability
These Terms of Use ("Terms", "Agreement") constitute a legally binding contract between individuals who download, install, or use the LeaseGuard AI mobile application ("App") and the application developer ("Developer", "Company").
By downloading or continuing to use the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
ℹ️ Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. Parental consent is required for users aged 13–17.
2 Scope & Limitations of Service
⚠️ Critical Notice — Not Legal Advice: LeaseGuard AI does not provide legal counsel or advisory services. All analyses, risk scores, explanations, and suggestions produced by the App are for informational purposes only. No output may be interpreted as legal advice, attorney services, or an official legal opinion.
LeaseGuard AI provides the following services:
- Lease agreement text analysis and risk assessment
- Interpretation of lease clauses within a legal framework
- Damage inspection photography and reporting
- Informational chat about tenant rights
- General information on various national legal systems
The App does not provide:
- Individual legal counsel or attorney representation
- Preparation of official documents for court proceedings
- Legal representation or case management
- Guarantees of specific legal outcomes
3 License & Intellectual Property
3.1 License Granted to User
Subject to these Terms, the Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use the App on Apple devices for personal, non-commercial purposes.
3.2 Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Sell, rent, or transfer the App to third parties
- Use content obtained from the App for commercial purposes
- Use the Developer's trademark or logo without prior written permission
3.3 Intellectual Property
All rights, trademarks, designs, source code, and content of the App belong to the Developer. Documents uploaded by the user (lease agreements, photos) remain the property of the user.
4 User Account & Security
LeaseGuard AI uses only Apple's "Sign in with Apple" for authentication. You are responsible for:
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- The security of your Apple account
- Not creating accounts on behalf of others
- Not sharing your account with any other person
The Developer is not liable for damages arising from a breach of account security.
5 Subscription & Payment Terms
5.1 Free Plan
Core features (risk score, clause analysis) are provided free of charge with no payment required.
5.2 Premium Subscription
Premium features (damage reports, AI chat, petition drafting) require a monthly subscription:
- Price: $3.99 / month (prices may vary by country)
- Payment: Processed through the Apple App Store; credit/debit card or Apple Pay
- Renewal: Subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period
5.3 Cancellation & Refunds
To cancel: iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → LeaseGuard AI → Cancel Subscription.
Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policy: Apple Billing Support
📌 App Store Subscription Disclosure: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
5.4 Price Changes
Subscription prices may change. Users will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price change and will have the option to accept or decline the new price.
6 Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer
⚠️ Regarding AI Responses: The App uses large language model (LLM) technology. AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. No AI-generated output may be:
- Construed as legal advice from an attorney
- Used as evidence in legal proceedings
- Relied upon to guarantee specific legal outcomes
- Assumed to reflect the latest changes in local legislation
The user is responsible for independently verifying the accuracy and currency of AI-generated content. Consulting a licensed attorney is mandatory for important legal decisions.
7 Prohibited Uses
You may not use the App for any of the following purposes:
- Engaging in or facilitating unlawful activities
- Submitting another person's personal information without their consent
- Spreading malware, spam, or harmful content
- Attacking the App's infrastructure or security
- Uploading fictitious or forged documents for analysis
- Performing bulk data scraping or automated access
- Creating false reports about third parties
Detection of any prohibited use may result in account suspension or permanent termination.
8 Content Responsibility
Documents uploaded by the user (lease agreements, photos) belong to and remain the responsibility of the user. The Developer:
- Is not responsible for the content of user-uploaded documents
- Does not review or retain user documents
- Is not liable for damages resulting from inaccurate or misleading documents
9 Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer expressly disclaims:
- Any warranty that the App will operate uninterrupted or error-free
- Any warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI analyses
- Any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose
- Any representation that the App constitutes legal advice
10 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for damages arising from:
- Legal decisions made in reliance on AI analyses
- Losses resulting from service interruption or technical failure
- Data loss (we recommend keeping backups on your device)
- Issues caused by third-party services (Apple, RevenueCat)
- Damages caused by the user's own negligence
The Developer's total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by the user in the preceding 12 months.
11 Service Modification & Termination
The Developer reserves the right to:
- Update, modify, or add/remove features at any time
- Temporarily or permanently suspend all or part of the services
- Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
Users will be given reasonable advance notice of significant service changes. If the service is permanently discontinued during a paid period, a pro-rated refund for the remaining period will be issued.
12 Apple App Store Specific Terms
ℹ️ Apple EULA: These Terms apply alongside Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). In case of conflict, Apple's App Store terms prevail.
For this App acquired through the Apple App Store:
- Apple is not a party to this agreement; it serves as the distribution channel only
- Apple assumes no warranty or liability regarding the App or its content
- All support requests for the App and its services are directed to the Developer, not Apple
- The App is compatible with Apple hardware and software and has been subject to App Store review guidelines
- In any intellectual property infringement claim, the responsible party is the Developer, not Apple
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of this agreement and has the right to enforce its terms against you

13 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable resolution.
For disputes that cannot be resolved amicably, the Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
EU consumers retain the right to bring claims before the competent supervisory authority in their country of residence for disputes related to GDPR.
