VoiceBloom ("VoiceBloom", "we", "us", or "our") is operated by idakimi.com. This Privacy Policy explains how VoiceBloom collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information when parents or guardians use the VoiceBloom iOS app and related support pages.
VoiceBloom is designed for parents and guardians to support child speech development tracking. It is a screening and support tool, not a medical device and not a diagnostic service.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
If you sign in with Apple, Apple may provide VoiceBloom with a unique Apple user identifier and, only if you choose to share them, your name and email address. VoiceBloom does not receive or store your Apple password.
Child Profile Information
To create speech development reports, you may enter a child's first name or nickname, birth date, primary language, and child profile identifier. Parents and guardians should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive details.
Audio Recordings
When you choose to analyze a recording, the audio file is uploaded to our secure server solely to create the requested speech development analysis. Audio is not uploaded unless you start an analysis and consent to server processing.
Speech Analysis, Reports, and Progress Data
VoiceBloom may process and store transcripts, word counts, mean length of utterance, speech sound statistics, IPA phoneme results, confidence values, report narratives, exercise suggestions, session dates, and progress trends linked to your account and child profile.
Subscription Information
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. VoiceBloom uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status, entitlement state, purchase history, and app-specific identifiers. We do not receive or store credit card numbers, CVC codes, or Apple account passwords.
Device and App Information
We may process limited technical information needed to operate the app, such as language preference, onboarding state, consent settings, subscription entitlement state, and local app settings.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect precise location data.
- We do not collect contacts, calendars, photos, or camera data.
- We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.
- We do not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies.
- We do not use audio, transcripts, or child data to train AI models.
- We do not sell personal data.
3. How We Use Information
VoiceBloom uses information only to provide and improve core app functionality requested by the parent or guardian:
- Create and manage parent accounts.
- Create child profiles and associate sessions with those profiles.
- Analyze recordings and generate speech development reports.
- Show transcripts, speech sound insights, IPA phoneme results, progress trends, and practice suggestions.
- Export reports for sharing with speech-language pathologists or care teams.
- Manage subscription access and restore purchases.
- Respond to support and privacy requests.
- Maintain safety, security, fraud prevention, and service reliability.
4. Audio Processing and Retention
Audio files are uploaded over HTTPS and processed on our server for speech analysis. Audio is deleted immediately after processing completes. Temporary orphan files caused by crashes or interrupted processing are removed by automated cleanup on service startup and by a recurring cleanup process. Audio recordings are not used for AI model training, advertising, profiling, or resale.
Analysis results, transcripts, reports, and child profile data may remain stored until you delete them or delete your account, because they are needed to show history, trends, reports, and exports.
5. AI Processing
VoiceBloom uses AI-assisted speech and language analysis to provide reports. The AI processing is used for inference only. We do not train, fine-tune, or improve AI models using your child's audio, transcripts, reports, or profile data.

We require service providers to protect data consistently with this Privacy Policy and to use data only for the services they provide to VoiceBloom.
7. Children's Privacy and Parental Consent
VoiceBloom is intended for use by parents and legal guardians, not by children acting on their own. Because the app may process child speech and child profile information, a parent or guardian must provide consent before using analysis features. Parents and guardians control recordings, child profiles, reports, and account deletion.
If you believe child information was provided without appropriate parental or guardian consent, contact us so we can delete it.
8. App Store Privacy Labels
Our App Store privacy disclosures are intended to match this policy. Depending on your use, VoiceBloom may collect data linked to you for app functionality, including identifiers, contact information, child profile information, audio data, user content, health-related or development-related information, purchase information, and app settings. VoiceBloom does not use this data for tracking.
9. Your Choices and Rights
- Microphone permission: You can revoke microphone access in iOS Settings.
- AI/audio processing consent: You can disable consent for sending recordings to our server in VoiceBloom Settings.
- Account deletion: You can delete your VoiceBloom account and associated child profiles, reports, transcripts, and progress data from inside the app.
- Subscription cancellation: Apple subscriptions must be cancelled in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- Access, correction, or deletion requests: You may contact us using the email below.
10. Security
We use HTTPS for data in transit, access controls, limited-purpose processing, and automated audio deletion safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, but we design VoiceBloom to minimize collected data and reduce retention of sensitive audio.
11. International Users
VoiceBloom may process information on servers outside your country or region. By using VoiceBloom, you understand that your information may be processed where we or our service providers operate, subject to applicable law.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date will show the latest version. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the app or by another appropriate method.
