What is VoiceBloom?

VoiceBloom is an iOS app for parents and guardians that turns short child speech recordings into development reports, vocabulary and sentence-length signals, speech sound insights, progress trends, and practice ideas.

Is VoiceBloom a medical device or diagnosis?

No. VoiceBloom is a screening and support tool. It does not diagnose speech delay, language disorder, autism, hearing conditions, or any medical condition. For concerns, share the report with a qualified speech-language pathologist or clinician.

How do I record and analyze speech?

Create a child profile, grant microphone permission, record a short speech sample, then tap Analyze. Audio is uploaded only when you choose analysis and consent to server processing.

What does IPA mean in the report?

IPA stands for International Phonetic Alphabet. It is a standard way to write speech sounds. VoiceBloom shows sound symbols such as /s/, /ʃ/, or /tʃ/ so reports can describe sounds clearly across languages. You can find an IPA Sound Guide in the app Settings.

Is my child's audio stored?

Audio is processed temporarily to generate the requested analysis and is deleted after processing. VoiceBloom does not use audio to train AI models.

What data remains after analysis?

Reports, transcripts, metrics, child profiles, and progress trends may be stored so the app can show history and exports. You can delete your account and associated data from inside the app.

How do I delete my account?

Open VoiceBloom, go to Settings, then Account, and choose Delete Account and Data. This removes the VoiceBloom account data we are not legally required to retain. Apple subscriptions must be cancelled separately in iOS Settings.

How do I cancel my subscription?

On iPhone, open iOS Settings, tap your Apple ID, choose Subscriptions, select VoiceBloom, and cancel. Refund requests for App Store purchases must be made through Apple.

How do I restore purchases?

Open VoiceBloom Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

How do I revoke microphone access?

Open iOS Settings, find VoiceBloom, and turn off Microphone access. Without microphone access, the app cannot create new recordings.

How do I report a privacy concern?

Email info@idakimi.com with the subject "VoiceBloom Privacy Request". We will review and respond as soon as reasonably possible.
